YPDP study trip explores London’s startup scene
A brave group of young tech policy enthusiasts boarded the first Eurostar morning train on the morning of September 18th. Our goal: To unlock the secrets of London’s vibrant tech startup scene in one day packed with surprising and thought-provoking encounters.
Our group consisted of 20 young professionals working in digital policy for the European Parliament, Commission, Permanent Representations, and a few from private sector and civil society.

YPDP host lunch discussion with MEP Reda on EU copyright reform
On 1 July more than 30 YPDPs took the opportunity for an exclusive lunch meeting with MEP Julia Reda to discuss her fight to modernise Europe’s copyright regime.
As Rapporteur of the European Parliament’s Report on the EU copyright reform, Julia shared her insights on the discussion and explained her broader vision for digital policy.
